Amoozgar is an online platform that introduces music teachers to students, lets you book a private lesson at a time you choose, takes payment, and hosts the lesson in your browser.

Amoozgar is the intermediary. Teaching itself is carried out by the individual teacher whose profile you book.

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. Accounts are personal and may not be shared. Teachers register and work on our main site, amoozgar.org.

Prices are shown per lesson before you book. Payment is taken through the payment provider named at checkout. Amoozgar receives the payment, deducts its platform fee, and settles the teacher’s share according to the published settlement period.

If your account holds credit, the credit is applied first and only the remainder is charged to your card.

Check the details of a booking before paying. Your receipt and booking status are visible in your account.

If you cancel a confirmed lesson before it takes place, you are refunded the amount you paid for it, less a 1.5% payment-processing fee, to your original payment method, typically within 2–3 weeks. This applies to single lessons and to individual lessons within a multi-lesson booking; cancelling one lesson does not cancel the rest of a package.

If the teacher cancels a confirmed lesson, you are refunded in full for that lesson, with no fee deducted, by the same method and within the same window.

If you do not attend at the booked time without cancelling, no refund is due.

If a technical failure on our side prevents the lesson from taking place, support can arrange a replacement lesson or a full refund.

Disputes about cancellation and refunds are handled by Amoozgar support in the first instance, based on system logs, payment status and the booking record.

Exchanging private contact details in order to arrange or pay for lessons outside Amoozgar is not permitted. Amoozgar accepts no responsibility for arrangements made outside the platform, and cannot help with payment, scheduling or quality disputes that arise from them.

Lessons run online through the platform. Final quality depends on your own connection, device and microphone. Where a lesson is recorded, the recording is available for a limited period and is then deleted.

Abusive, unlawful or misleading content and behaviour are not permitted, in profiles, chat or lessons. Accounts that breach this may be suspended.

Teaching materials belong to the teacher who made them. Platform content and branding belong to Amoozgar. Neither may be redistributed without permission.

Amoozgar provides the platform that connects students and teachers. To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with a booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. We may update these terms; the version that applies to a booking is the one in force when the booking was paid for.
