Artin Rezaei Zare is a ney-anban (bagpipe) performer and teacher, trained under the esteemed Master Sharifian. His path in music grew out of a love for the ney-anban and a deep interest in this authentic, deeply rooted instrument, whose sound carries part of the identity and musical culture of the southern region. In his lessons, the goal is not simply to learn a handful of pieces but to build a correct, principled, and lasting foundation for playing. Instruction begins at the introductory level and progresses with a focus on understanding the instrument, proper playing technique, breath and air-pressure control, fingering, performance technique, rhythm, and playing full pieces. He aims to give every student, regardless of prior musical background, a clear and understandable learning path, allowing them to build their ney-anban playing skills step by step. Together, students start, learn, practice, and move one step closer each day to becoming the player they want to be.
